John R. Wood Properties Launches New Series, “Soweflo Life by John R. Wood”

Episodic Video Series Highlights Company’s and Agent’s Love of the Southwest Florida Lifestyle

Taking the lead once more in the marketing arena, John R. Wood Properties has launched a new episodic video series, “SoWeFlo Life by John R. Wood”, unfolding as a complementary brand that currently resides on Facebook. The series, with a name that plays off of the abbreviation for Southwest Florida (SWFL), showcases the company’s collective love of the area with each episode featuring a different real estate agent exploring what they enjoy most about living here.

“Marketing should be about telling stories and our agents have some really great stories to tell about why they choose to live and work here,” said Phil Wood, President of John R. Wood Properties. “Our agents truly love the area and that’s also what makes them so good at what they do. Our goal in adopting this project was to give our agents a more engaging and fun platform to share from and to present a more personalized representation of our company.”

So far, eight episodes have been created and posted to the SoWeFlo Life Facebook page. Topics include Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Osteria Tulia restaurant, Cabbage Key, The Gordon River Greenway, Naples Botanical Gardens, private boating paradises, and shopping at The Village on Venetian Bay. The show has already attracted over 11,500 followers, and each new episode brings new interest and “likes”.

“Ideas like this and the way John R. Wood Properties approaches new marketing projects is exactly why I chose to work for this company,” said Betty Kampfer, Real Estate Sales Associate at the North Naples office. “It was a blast to create an episode for SoWeFlo Life, which I did on Cabbage Key, and to share with people at least one reason why I love it here so much!”

Rather than focusing on real estate sales SoWeFlo Life by John R. Wood Properties shines the spotlight on agent personalities and offers a more human and intimate look into why people love living in Southwest Florida.

“It’s not every day we get the opportunity to tell our story in a meaningful way,” said Andrew Mease, Real Estate Sales Associate at the Bonita Springs office. “There is so much to share about this area that goes far beyond its real estate or just trying to make a sale.”

The film segments are shot and produced by Tell Your Vision, a local marketing company that specializes in client promotion via video and social media.

Wood said that the episodes are great viewing for people new to the local market, or to longtime residents like himself. “Every story has been interesting and informative; I always look forward to the next one.”
